🗳️Over the weekend: All finalists will be displayed in St Mary’s & St Chads Church and there will be a ballot box for votes.

The one with the most votes (Facebook & ballots) combined will win a £25 Smyths voucher. Closing date Sunday 28th June 2026 at 11pm. The winner will be announced w/c 29/06/26.

Posters are going up… thank you to all the business, schools and locations that have already said yes to displaying these…hopefully you’ve spotted them around the village 👀

Open to social groups, sports teams, schools, playgroups, meet ups, local charities etc … anything that supports and brings a benefit to our local community 🌻

Community Pot at Our Open Garden Event 🌸

Our upcoming Open Garden Event isn’t just about enjoying beautiful blooms and a lovely day outdoors — it’s also about supporting our local community. 💐

We’re introducing Community Pot, where a percentage of the money raised from the event will be shared with local charities and community groups.

This could include things like:
🌼 Craft clubs needing materials
📚 After-school clubs needing books
🎲 Kids’ groups needing board games
🧶 Community groups needing supplies

If your group could benefit from a small donation, we’d love to hear from you.

Simply send us a PM or email with:
• What you would use the donation for
• A brief description of your organisation or group

We’ll be selecting a number of groups to receive a share of the Community Pot.

Let’s grow something wonderful together — not just in the garden, but in our community too. 🌷
