A little reminder for GCSE results day 💛

To every one getting their GCSE results today: be proud of yourself, whatever is on that piece of paper. Your results are a snapshot of one moment — they do not define your intelligence, your potential, or the person you will become.

And to the parents, carers, teachers and other adults supporting them: please remember that behind every result is a young person who may be feeling excited, relieved, disappointed, anxious or a mixture of everything. Celebrate their achievements, listen without judgement, and remind them that there is always another route forward.

Whether the results are better than expected, exactly what was hoped for, or not what they wanted at all — there is no single path to a successful future.

Be kind, be proud, and remember: one set of results does not define a whole life. 🌟

Good luck to everyone receiving their GCSE results. You’ve got this. ❤️

We’ve been out shopping today, getting everything ready for tomorrow’s packed lunch giveaway — and we have some fantastic treats in store for you! 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who emailed us and placed an order. We’re so pleased to be able to support local families and help make things a little easier over half term.

The great news is that we still have funds remaining in the pot, so we’ll be holding another giveaway before the school term begins 🥰

One year today we brought our van 🚐

Looking back through our posts, We can’t believe it’s been a whole year since we brought our beautiful new van 🚐❤️

What a year it’s been 🎉

We’ve honestly lost count of the number of families we’ve helped move, the donations we’ve delivered, and the people we’ve been able to support along the way. This van has allowed us to do so much good, and we feel incredibly grateful every single day that we’re able to run our charity and have this amazing vehicle to help us do it.

Running our charity van is genuinely one of the best feelings. Knowing that she’s helped make difficult times a little easier for so many families means more than we can put into words. ❤️
We still don’t have a name for her yet 😂

And she really is a pretty special van. She runs like an absolute dream, and the air con these last few weeks has been a massive treat! 😂❄️

She is treasured, looked after and loved more than you’ll ever know.

Here’s to another year of miles, memories, helping families and doing as much good as we possibly can. 🚐❤️

We’re so grateful for her — and for every single person who supports what we do. ❤️

💛 A huge thank you to our amazing team today! 💛

Chris, Mary & Sue have worked so incredibly hard again today, sorting through all the toys, books and games — just in time for a huge donation to Marshlands School today! 📚🧸🎲

Chloe has finally got herself a clear office space to work from 🙌 Chloe and Chelsea have some amazing little ideas that they’re bringing to life to help raise funds very soon. We can’t wait to see them come together! 💡✨

A massive thank you to Adam & Callum for doing all the hard carrying and lifting today — we definitely couldn’t have done it without you! 💪 And thank you to Adam for jumping in and serving when it suddenly got very busy! 🙈

Beth is now in and taking over on the till — thank you, Beth! ❤️

And of course, a special mention to everyone’s favourite man in the shop… Mark! 😂❤️
It’s honestly so lovely watching the children come in each week and ask to see him — he’s built up quite the little following in the shop! 🥰😂

💛 HOLIDAY HUNGER SUPPORT 💛

We have been incredibly grateful to receive a kind donation of funds to help support families that might need a little extra help

This isn’t something we would normally do, but when we were given the opportunity to help, we couldn’t say no. ❤️

We know that the school holidays can be a difficult time for families, and we want to make things just a little easier.

If you’re struggling for some extra food for your children, or you could simply do with a little extra help or a treat for them, please don’t hesitate to email us and let us know how many lunch packs you would like🩷There is absolutely no judgement — we’re here to help. 💕

🚨🚨 URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨🚨

We are open Next Friday 14th August as normal 1pm-6pm

We regret to inform you that we are CLOSED next Sunday 16th August

Management have ABANDONED US. 😭

Apparently, they’ve decided they are “tired” and “need a break” and have therefore selfishly booked themselves a much-needed holiday. 🙄☀️🌞

We would like to apologise to our loyal customers for this shocking display of management privilege.

While you’re all left wondering what to do with yourselves, management will be somewhere sunbathing, relaxing and drinking something cold…

Honestly. The audacity. 😂🍹

We tried to explain that the business simply cannot function without them, but apparently they said:

“It’ll be fine.”

😂😂

So there you have it.

CLOSED NEXT SUNDAY.

Management: 0
Customers: abandoned
Holiday: apparently essential 😂

Normal service will resume the following week — assuming management can be bothered to come back. 😉
