Introducing Netball - Rise & Thrive! 🌟

At Safe Haven Aid, we believe in the power of sport to inspire, uplift, and empower. That’s why we’re launching Netball - Rise & Thrive, a brand-new initiative designed to increase netball participation among girls (14+) from low-income families in Rowley Park, Stafford.

💡 Why Netball?
✅ Builds teamwork, leadership, and confidence
✅ Improves physical and mental well-being
✅ Offers a safe, inclusive space for girls to learn, grow, and thrive

🏆 Our train-the-trainer model will also equip 12 girls with coaching skills, so they can inspire and mentor others in their community.

Introducing Climb - 2 - Conquer!

At Safe Haven Aid, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to grow, challenge themselves, and break through barriers—both physical and social. That’s why we’re launching Climb - 2 - Conquer, an exciting new initiative designed to increase participation among African boys and girls (14+) from low-income families in Rowley Park, Stafford.

🌟 What’s in it for you?
✅ FREE 90-minute weekly indoor mountaineering sessions for 12 months
✅ Expert guidance from two qualified climbing instructors
✅ A train-the-trainer model to empower 12 participants to become leaders and inspire others
✅ A safe, supportive space to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships

Did you know that addiction isn’t just about behavior it’s about brain chemistry?

When substances like drugs or alcohol are used repeatedly, they alter the brain’s reward system, flooding it with dopamine and creating an artificial sense of pleasure. Over time, the brain adapts by reducing natural dopamine production, making it harder to feel joy without the substance.
