Rotary Club of Stafford Knot R.C. Stafford Knot supports local charities & gives back to the community. There is fun and friendship between our members.

Another 9 blankets are winging their way to Ethiopia to the Hamlin Fistula hospital to provide warmth and love to the patients. We wish them well on their road to recovery and their return to their communities. Our thanks to all those who contributed squares and blankets. I am amazed how beautiful and different the blankets are. Helen at Hamlin Fistula UK, who received the blankets, asked us to pass on their very grateful thanks.

Our 2026 Plant Hunters’ Fair season has now finished, and we would like to say a huge “thank you” to everyone who came to our Plant Hunters’ Fairs this year to buy plants and support our nurseries and venues whatever the weather – we are truly inspired by your enthusiasm and love for all things planty.

Plant Hunters’ Fairs have been running since 2008 and it’s so nice to see so many gardening friends old and new each year.

A special thank you to our wonderful plant nurseries who get up before the break of dawn to travel to the fairs and always keep smiling through all weathers. This year has been a very challenging plant growing year for them. They must have been worn out with all the extra watering and care that's been required to grow such wonderful plants.

Our plant fairs are hosted by some of the most beautiful and prestigious gardens and countryside locations in our region and we would like to also say a huge “thank you” to all the venue staff and volunteers who do so much to make our fairs run so smoothly and who make us feel so welcome.

Our 2027 plant fair season is taking shape and we look forward to letting you know the dates later this year and to seeing you all again next year.
