We have indoor and outdoor facilities and run beginners' courses through the year for adults and juniors (from 10 years). Our members shoot recurve bows, compound bows, longbows and other traditional bows. Although we are a target archery club, some members enjoy a clout shoot in the summer. We hold regular club competitions and coaching sessions for members. We have coaches trained to Level 1 and
Level 2. The club is affiliated to the national governing body for archery - Archery GB. We are very friendly and family orientated, so you can be sure of a warm welcome. Archery is the friendly sport. Everyone helps everyone else and beginners get special attention from the experienced archers to help them improve and enjoy archery. We run social events throughout the year. While most of us shoot for the sheer fun of it, if your ambition is the Olympics, we’ll support you in that objective, and we are keen to see members in local and regional competitions.
