🥁 A PROUD FINAL MARCH PAST | ANNUAL CAMP 2026 🥁

Our Corps of Drums had the honour of leading the County on the final March Past of Annual Camp 2026 — and they certainly sounded fantastic!

With the drums sounding out across the parade, there was a real sense of pride and occasion as the County marched together for one final time.

A fitting end to a fantastic week and a proud moment for everyone on parade. 👏🥁

A few more highlights from our Annual Camp 2026 Drumhead Parade.

Following the parade, the County proudly carried out a March Past, where His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County of Staffordshire, Professor Elizabeth Barnes CBE, took the final salute.

A proud and fitting moment for our cadets and adult volunteers, bringing together tradition, pride and teamwork during a memorable week at Annual Camp.

🏕️ AND JUST LIKE THAT… ANNUAL CAMP 2026 IS COMPLETE! 🏕️

The last coach leaves, the site is getting quieter, and Annual Camp 2026 is officially done! 🚌👋

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this week what it was — our incredible cadets, dedicated adult volunteers and permanent staff. Without every single one of you, Annual Camp simply wouldn’t be the experience it is.

It’s been a week full of training, challenges, teamwork, achievements, laughter, friendships and memories that we hope will last long after everyone gets home.

To everyone who played a part, however big or small — thank you for making Annual Camp 2026 one to remember. ❤️

🎖️ ANNUAL CAMP 2026 | FINAL PARADE 🎖️

As another Annual Camp comes to an end, our Final Parade certainly didn’t disappoint, with plenty of well-deserved awards and recognition presented to our cadets and adult volunteers. 👏

A huge congratulations to everyone who received an award today — a true testament to your hard work, dedication, commitment and achievements throughout camp and beyond.

🤝 A WARM WELCOME TO OUR FRIENDS 🤝

Today also saw us welcome some of our Friends of the County to Annual Camp 2026.

Despite the inclement weather, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits! Our Friends spent time out on camp, chatting with our cadets and hearing all about their experiences and everything they’ve achieved during their week at Annual Camp.

We are extremely grateful to have such a supportive group of Friends who continue to take a genuine interest in our cadets and the opportunities available to them.

Our cadets always love seeing you visit, so a huge thank you for taking the time to come and see us — your continued support really is appreciated. 💚

🎖️ WATERLOO PLATOON | THE FINALE! 🎖️

This morning saw the finale of Waterloo Platoon’s field exercise, culminating in the defence of their Forward Operating Base (FOB).

There was plenty of action as the exercise reached its conclusion, and it was fantastic to see our senior cadets thriving in the field environment. Throughout the morning we witnessed some brilliant leadership, teamwork, determination and hard work as they put everything they’ve learned into practice. 💪

A great way to bring several challenging days in the field to a close — well done, Waterloo Platoon! 👏
