Newcastle College and Stafford College Group has today officially announced a new strategic partnership with the Staffordshire Football Association, signalling a powerful alignment designed to benefit both local grassroots sport and the next generation of young talent across the Staffordshire region.

This formal agreement represents an exciting new chapter and a natural evolution of a long-standing, collaborative relationship. For a number of years, NSCG and Staffordshire FA have worked closely to enhance technical and competitive opportunities for the Collegeโ€™s talented and driven sports students. By stepping into an official capacity as an institutional partner, NSCG looks forward to building an even closer relationship that extends its impact far beyond the pitch.

Weโ€™ve officially teamed up with the Staffordshire Football Association (Staffordshire FA) in an exciting new strategic partnership. While weโ€™ve worked closely together for years, this formal chapter takes things to a whole new level by reaching directly into the heart of our local community hubs. ๐Ÿคโšฝ

Starting next academic year, NSCG students from a huge range of T Level courses; including Sport, Marketing, Digital, Legal and Engineering, will be taking on industry placements with local grassroots clubs.

This is an incredible win-win for our region, giving students hands-on experience to boost their futures while providing vital, day-to-day operational support to the local football clubs that keep Staffordshire moving.

Mid Staffs Junior League President, Mike Barnard has been recognised in the King's Birthday Honours and awarded the British Empire Medal, for his 43+ years service to grassroots football.

Mike was crucial to the formation of the Mid Staffs Junior League over three decades ago and with that, has provided opportunities for children to play the game they love.
