Friends of St Mary's, Stafford The Friends of St Mary’s help to raise funds for special projects at the church benefitting all. St Mary's is so much more than a parish church!

It fulfils many roles in the life of the town, and the people of Stafford, as well as being home to a worshipping community. The Church is at the heart of the Civic life of the town and hosts many important civic services and events. Regular cultural events take place there including a wide variety of of talks, lectures and discussions. Music plays an important role and we have regular saturday 'c

offee concerts'. All these activities take place in a building that is not just ancient, but is beautiful, imposing and full of interesting and attractive features.

Volunteers normally open St Mary's on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from
11.00 am to 1.00 pm. You are welcome to get in touch to check the Church will be open. I'm also happy to meet exhibition visitors at other times by appointment.
