Hixon Green and Clean has been created with the objective of improving our local environment by organising regular litter picks and carrying out a range of eco-friendly projects in a fun way. • We want to be proactive and as diverse as possible by bringing together like- minded people using everyone’s ideas, skills and knowledge to make positive environmental things happen!
• We want to raise aw

areness, encourage involvement and take action to protect and enhance the natural environment of the village and surrounding countryside. Whilst doing this creating enjoyment and fun through our actions.
• We want to work with a range of local individuals, groups and organisations to achieve our objectives. We also have a WhatsApp group– if you would like to be added to it; please email me with your mobile number.

Thank you for all those who attended the Mother's Day Quiz at the Bank House on Sunday Evening. We raised £208.90, which is fantastic. 11 teams attended so it was a great atmosphere.

A big thank you to all who organised and hosted the event.
