At this week's meeting, our Beavers covered road safety and the green cross code.
We watched a video, played some games, and had a quiz to test our knowledge! All the Beavers should be super safe now when we venture outside our meeting place!

Beavers was all about pancakes this week!
We played some games, had a pancake flipping race, and decorated and ate our own pancakes! The pancakes were heaped with sweet treats 😁

Our Beavers looked at part of the International badge last night - they put their brains to the test matching flags to their countries, discovered the flags and languages of some countries, and did a listening and repeat tasks to learn to say hello in 10 different languages! The Beavers did a brilliant job, and everyone did a fantastic job of pronouncing the words!

One of our own Beavers is taking part in the Stafford Gang Show this year with some of our other group members, the show is amazing! If you have a chance to pop along you really should, the shows are on tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday!

Last night at Beavers we had a 'lodge corners' meeting - we had four different activities to complete and most worked towards our Skills Challenge badge! It was a huge success, and everyone did an amazing job of learning new skills 😁

This week, our Beavers celebrated Chinese/Lunar New Year!

We learned the story behind the zodiac signs, tried some Chinese food, made and decorated fans, and even wrote out names in Chinese! Some of the letters were very tricky, but they all tried really hard and completed the tasks!

After joining the 21st West Stafford Castle Drey Squirrels at Clip and Climb on Monday, we continued with some activities to work toward our Health and Fitness badge last night!

We burnt off some energy with an assault course, took heart rate recordings, and made some posters to encourage Health and Fitness! It was a very loud meeting, with the Beavers encouraging their team mates through the assault course, but everyone did an amazing job! 😁🦫⚜️

We had our first meeting back after the Christmas break yesterday, and it was brilliant to see how enthusiastic the Beavers were 😁
We started with a refresh of our behaviour expectations whilst at Beavers, and had a very important fire drill. We also talked about our favourite part of the holidays, and our favourite gifts!

We have had a leader join our colony, and the Beavers all suggested names for them. We had a vote at the end of our session - so we'd love to welcome Frog 🐸 to the Leadership team 😁
