STAFFORDSHIRE REGIMENT MUSUEM

This weekend, cadets from 395 visited the Staffordshire Regiment Museum to learn about the history of the men and women of the county, and their role in conflicts since the regiments beginnings in the 18th Century.

Cadets took part in a weapons and uniform workshop, as well as a WWI and WWII history tour, before being given time to explore the wider museum exhibits and vehicles!

STAFFORDSHIRE WING CUP 2026

For a second year running we have achieved a second place finish in this year’s annual wing competition! 🥈

This including winning the drill competition for a fourth consecutive year! A huge achievement for everyone involved in the teams over the years, and another trip to Regional Activity Day to come! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

We also took home first place in the first aid competition for a second year running! Well done to the team who achieved this amazing back to back win! 🏆🏆

Other first place finishes came in the media and RPAS competitions, as well as third place in the banner drill competition; with valuable points being secured and contributing to our overall total! A huge well done to all the team members, reserves and those back at squadron who contributed to the training. 🏆🏆🥉

Congratulations to all the teams from across the wing who competed and your achievements, and a huge thank you to the staff for making the day possible!

Battle of Britain Parade

As September comes to an end we look back at the anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Cadets from 395 attended a service and wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the few, and the wider armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in 1940.

We will remember them. 🇬🇧

Gold Leadership! 🥇

Congratulations to CWO Taylor who, last week, completed her gold leadership course at RAF Halton!

“Completing Gold Leadership has been a really rewarding experience and something I’m extremely proud of. Throughout the course, I took part in practical assessments, group presentations and theory lessons, all of which challenged me to develop my leadership skills and learn in different ways.

I feel the course went extremely well and has given me a much deeper understanding of leadership that I can take back and apply within my squadron, wing and region. One of the things I enjoyed most was meeting cadets from across the country, building new friendships and learning from everyone’s different experiences.

Gold Leadership has reminded me that achieving this level isn’t the end of my leadership journey, but the beginning of what I can continue to achieve.”

Well done CWO!
