It’s with some sadness and disappointment that we share the news that Serious About St Neots is coming to an end as a community organisation.

When we first created the phrase “Serious About St Neots”, it was never meant to be just a group name — it was a unique tag line to unite our community with pride and creativity. Something we thought everyone with a shared love for the town would get behind and “serious about St Neots” would become a phrase supported, embraced and used by all organisations & individuals.

Over the past 8 years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with and support many wonderful local businesses, organisations and individuals who were and still are, truly, serious about St Neots.

One of the achievements we’re most proud of is creating and publishing the first comprehensive, creative town app of its kind in the UK — something born entirely from our passion for St Neots.
For whatever reason, this too struggled to gain a unified support and unfortunately, the running costs were too much for us to maintain it as a free resource for the town.

Although the organisation will cease, please know that we are still serious about this town. You’ll continue to see us around as Gary & Mark, getting involved creatively, popping up at local events, and championing the town in our own way.
Thank you to those who believed in Serious About St Neots, collaborated with us, and supported what we set out to do.

It’s with some sadness and disappointment that we share the news that Serious About St Neots is coming to an end as a community organisation.

⚠️ Caution, Oscar speech style thank you alert ⚠️

THANK YOU to the amazing community that is St Neots for supporting an incredible day of festive fun. It’s always an honour to be asked to be part of the day and we had a ball putting the whole show together for you.
Thank you St Neots Town Council for trusting in us.

But we couldn’t have done it without the generosity of Kevin Hull and Premier Plus Ltd as main sponsor again.
To GoldLeaf Jewellers Ltd who donated not one, but two TVs to giveaway (let us know if you were a lucky recipient)
To Waitrose for the lovely gifts Fil was able to bestow on the lucky lady he sang to ❤️

Thanks also to The Cake Box for their gift of cakes for the audience. (Sorry you couldn’t all get one!)

To our switch on special guest, Sunny from The Chaii Hub (we’ll see you soon for a Chaii) for switching on the lights with our Mayor, Richard Slade
and of course the entertainment from: Peppercorns Academy, Dancefloor Divas, Star Stageworks, Rock Choir, O’Mahony Academy of Irish Dance, Clickity-Clack Parties, The Collaboration Choir, Lia Gray and the awesome FiL Straughan.

join us once again on the market square to help welcome Christmas officially in to St Neots.
With the festive market and entertainment from midday right through til 6pm (the switch on & fireworks at 5pm) we’ll be simply having a wonderful Christmas time!

We are looking for for two people. One to get to know S!D inside out and one to keep an eye on him when he has fun at the switch on.
