So much has happened over Carers Week at Caring Together Charity so here's a quick look back at the events and activities we've organised or taken part in during a hectic seven days in support of unpaid carers in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk.
Many thanks go to every carer who joined us for an event or spoke to us at a stand, and every staff member, volunteer, partner and organisation who helped make this happen.

To coincide with Carers Week, we published our Carers Speak Out report entitled Slipping Through the Net. It reveals many unpaid carers across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk went unrecognised and unsupported when there were chances to help them.
The Caring Together Charity report draws on testimonies from unpaid carers submitted through our online Carers Speak Out platform.

We can't wait to hear Great Yarmouth singing group Prelude, who will be performing a concert featuring a wide variety of music to raise funds for Caring Together Charity next weekend.
In this fun and relaxed show, they will be singing songs from musicals and film soundtracks, as well as pop favourites from the likes of Queen and Simon and Garfunkel.
📅 The concert is at Bradwell Methodist Church, Sat 20 June (2.30pm).
Admission is £6 on the door, including refreshments.

Volunteers make a massive difference to everything we can do to support unpaid carers at Caring Together Charity.
From raising funds to being a friendly face, there are so many fulfilling and rewarding ways to get involved. As Carers Week wraps up, consider how you could help in Building Carer-Friendly Communities.
Our Norfolk befriending co-ordinator Colin will be happy to give you the lowdown at the Get InVOLVed Norfolk Festival of Volunteering.

Our fantastic Caring Together Charity carer awareness and voice co-ordinator Claire rounded off her busy Carers Week by meeting unpaid carers at a coffee morning, organised by Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust, at Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity today.

Another busy day for our staff at local Carers Week events! Carer awareness and voice co-ordinator Claire and senior fundraising manager Laura were in the hot seat at the Patient Experience Awareness Day at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust while head of communications and fundraising Zoe met unpaid carers at Boroughbury Medical Centre in Peterborough.
⭐ Tomorrow (Friday), Claire will be at Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity in Norwich for a carers' coffee morning co-hosted by Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust while Zoe will be at The Deepings Practice. Please pop by if you need any help as an unpaid carer.

The Great British weather made an appearance for our extremely well-attended Carers Week parent carer event at the beautiful Madingley Hall & Gardens today!
Delicious cake and hot drinks were served up as carers welcomed the chance to have a break and a chat in the lovely library room with the Caring Together Charity communities team while the rain came down outside.
A couple of brave souls decided to head out for a walk, but eventually the sun broke through with many taking the opportunity for a stroll around the peaceful gardens to round off a relaxing morning.
Thanks to everyone for coming along and we hope you enjoyed the occasion!

Have you met Zoe, our head of fundraising and communications, at Peterborough City Council's Carers Week event at Sand Martin House today?
She is on the road representing Caring Together Charity throughout offering a warm smile and lots of helpful advice on the support you can receive as an unpaid carer.
Tomorrow (Thursday) Zoe will be at Boroughbury Medical Centre so please drop in and see her there if you need any information.
