"Something like 90% of us are metabolically unwell.
When I hear “I have a sweet tooth” or “I crave sugar” or I get “hangry” if I don’t eat often, I know there is a blood sugar issue. An insulin issue. And a metabolism issue.
One of the sure fire ways to correct it is to EAT PROTEIN.
ESPECIALLY FOR WOMEN.
We need to be eating 1.6 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.
130 pound person needs around 95 grams of protein a day.
Break this into 30-40 grams of protein per meal.
What does 30 grams look like?
4 oz of chicken
5 oz of steak
5 eggs
1 cup cottage cheese
1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt
1 cup tempeh
5 oz wild caught salmon
protein powder has 24 grams
I would bet that if DO have sugar cravings or wine cravings and you up your protein intake they will magically disappear 🫥 "
