Reharvest St Andrews A social enterprise based in St Andrews aiming to reduce food waste on farms by harvesting and repurposing surplus produce.

Reharvest is a social business that aims to recover those surplus fruit and vegetables and save them from going to waste. We work with farmers to achieve this and often organise gleaning trips, where we go out on the fields and harvest perfectly edible produce that would otherwise be ploughed back into the earth, fed to livestock or simply thrown away. This food is then transformed into long-lasti

ng products such as jams, preserves, chips or fruit leather and sold. The business will engage, employ and eventually be run by disadvantaged women in the community.
