We’ve got a 2 for 1 for you this weekend!
First up is an Intro to Post-Quantum Cryptography - This workshop will introduce the foundational knowledge needed for classical cryptography, and the cutting-edge schemes underpinning the next generation of computer security. There will be an interactive activity, pitting audience members against each other in a team showdown. Anyone with an interest in cryptography, quantum computing, or communications is encouraged to come along!

After a coffee break with some free snacks we then have...

A visual Introduction to The vision Transformer - A workshop on the Vision Transformer Architecture, a new machine learning architecture similar to that in ChatGPT, but for images instead of text. Join for a theoretical overview presenting the architecture followed by a demo of its implementation and use.

The workshops will be taught by our developers Jake Brockwell and Adam Kuča🤩

After more than two intense hours we finally can introduce you our STACS committee for next year!

We’re incredible thankful for the amount of applications we received this year (more than 4 people running for 1 position 😮, STACS history is changing).

Everyone came super prepared and we enjoyed every joke and inspirational quote 🗣️

Can’t wait for what the new committee brings us next year🥰🥰
