We are ready! The site has been cleaned and the bikes are prepped for swapping. Let the sunshine in - come join us for a fantastic community event and celebrate active travel with us!

Start your weekend fresh with our organised group cycle ride—fun for the whole family! Meet at the Union at 10 am. The ride finishes at Spider Park just in time for the festival kick-off at 11 am.

Oh YES! 🚲🛴🛹 The Skate, Scoot, and Bike Festival is back for its third amazing year at Spider Park, St Andrews! SAVE THE DATE! Join us on 14th March from 11 AM to 4 PM. Again, it promises to be a fantastic day with amazing activities for the whole family.

This year, we’re excited to offer FREE BMX lessons with expert coaches from the BMX School Scotland - book your spot now ([email protected])! Also, if you have any unused kids’ bikes in the shed for our popular bike swap, please email us so every child has a chance to ride.

Don’t forget to bring your bike for a FREE check-up and minor repairs—maybe jazz it up with some cool decorations. Plus, if you’ve got a kid’s bike bring it along to swap for another one!

And guess what? The Eco Hub Refill Shop at 40 Kinnessburn Road is opening their refill shop just for us! Bring your containers and feel free to use their toilets! 🚽

We have a FANTASTIC program lined up for you, including the amazing smoothie bike! 🍹 Pedal your way to a delicious smoothie and kids can get creative with our "Pimp My Bike" activity to decorate their helmets, scooters, skateboards, or bikes! All for FREE 🎨✨

🌟🚴‍♂️ OH YES!!!! Join us at the Skateboards& Bikes Festival for our KIDS BIKE SWAP! 🚲✨ If your child has outgrown their bike, bring it along and swap it for one that fits! We have a variety of sizes available, from small to teen bikes!
Plus, our amazing bike mechanics and dedicated volunteers will be on-site offering FREE bike checks and minor repairs for all bikes, including adult ones! So if you’ve got a bike collecting dust in the shed, now’s the perfect time to bring it out and get it ready for spring and summer!

We’ll have a great, fully insured skate instructor on hand who’s awesome at helping beginners learn to balance and ride. If you've never been on a skateboard before or just want to improve your skills, this is perfect for you!

🌟 Exciting News, Everyone! 🌟

We’re thrilled to share some great updates with you! After much hard work, the Spider Group Committee has successfully completed the amazing skate park, and we know how important this space is for our community. That’s why we’re so excited to introduce the new Spiderpark Group, which will focus on developing Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the Spiderpark project.

And that's not all! Get ready because the Skateboards & Bikes Festival is BACK this year! 🛹🚴‍♂️

🗓️ Please mark your calendars for Saturday, 22nd March from 11 AM to 4 PM.

We’ve planned an incredible program with activities including: ✨ FREE skate lessons✨ BMX demonstrations ✨ Kids’ bike swaps to support young cyclists ✨ Dr. Bike, who will be on hand for FREE bike check-ups ✨ Live music, stalls, and a chance to get creative with your bike or scooter!
