Playground updates

Have you seen the Worn cross-ropes have been replaced on the playground junior multi climbing frame and new swings have been added.

Next job is to dismantle and service the see saw.
Most of the play park equipment has been jet wash recently.

If you'd like to help the Rec Charity maintain the playground and wider playing field, please get in touch.

We are currently applying for a grant to replace the safety surfaces, It will cost around £20,000.

Dogs on the recreational Ground

Owners are not clearing up their dog mess and it is causing issues for everyone who uses this lovely open space.
The football club are having to clean up dog mess before each game and seven were reported to be found recently. This is unacceptable as young children are playing on these pitches and it can cause fatal consequences for them.
It is the responsibility of the dog owners to ensure they clean up the mess. Please report dog fouling to WNDC.
