Spilsby Youth Club had our monthly visit from Magna Vitae’s Steve & Ella and they absolutely got our heart rates up! 💪

Loads of fun and games including dodgeball, pool and musical chairs 😎🤣
We’ve burned a ton of energy and had a brilliant time.

Huge thanks, guys! We can’t wait for next time! 🙌

SPILSBY LIGHT NIGHT TO TAKE A BREAK IN 2026 AS SESSIONS ARTS PLAN FUTURE PROGRAMME

At Sessions Arts, we want to share that Spilsby Light Night will be taking a break this year.

This decision has been made because it was not possible to have the necessary funding in place to enable the delivery of the event on this occasion. While this is disappointing, we want to reassure our audiences, artists and partners that this pause is part of a wider and positive plan for the future of arts activity in Spilsby.

Our current focus is on the opening of Spilsby Sessions House as a major new arts and cultural venue, scheduled to open in 2027. As part of this exciting next chapter, we are aiming to incorporate elements of Spilsby Light Night into a launch event for the new venue, bringing back familiar creative highlights in a new and expanded way.

Alongside this, we are actively working to secure funding to enable a programme of local outdoor arts events in 2026, with activity planned to begin in late spring/early summer. This programme will continue our commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality arts experiences for the local community.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Spilsby Light Night over the years, we can’t wait to share what’s next and rest assured we will be back! ✨

🎄 Youth Club Christmas Party 🎄

What a brilliant way to wrap up the year!
A festive buffet, plenty of games, great music, lots of fun & laughter 😆 and of course a bit of friendly competition thrown in!

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who gave up their time to make it all happen – we couldn’t do it without you. 💫

✨ Youth Club Christmas Craft Night! ✨

Tonight our young people got fully into the festive spirit! 🎄
We spent the session making Christmas decorations, paper chains, and light-up garlands — and the results were amazing!

We’ve shared some photos of their brilliant progress and the final creations… they’ve really transformed the room into a mini winter wonderland ❄️💡

Our Hot Chocolate Station is officially a winter winner! ❄️☕️
With the cold really setting in this evening, it went down an absolute storm with everyone.
A perfect cosy boost to keep spirits high!

We also welcomed Magna Vitae’s “Schools Out” sports activity team tonight. A big thank you to Steve & Ella for bringing the energy and giving us our first fun, competitive session of the season! 🏆🔥

Tonight’s youth club session was all about creativity and collaboration as we worked together to design and create our very own feather flag! 🪶

Everyone got involved — sketching, painting, and bringing ideas to life. We can’t wait to show it off outside the New Life Centre door! ✨

🌊✨ Youth Club Glow-Up! ✨🌊

Our young people had an amazing time recently working with local artist Hannah Peacock & Sessions Arts in a creative workshop where they designed and made their very own UV jellyfish lanterns 🪼💡

These incredible creations were proudly displayed at the Light Waves Light Walk and Light Waves Parade over the weekend in Chapel St Leonards and Sutton on Sea’s Seaview colonnade lighting up the night with colour, imagination, and community spirit! 💙

A huge thank-you to Hannah for inspiring our group and to everyone who came along to see the wonderful displays! 🌟
