Our ball meeting today took place at Coffee Lounge 51 (banging oat milk hazelnut frappuccino by the way)!

The wonderful manager was delighted to pop up a poster and keep hold of some fliers for their customers.

We've set ourselves some impprtant tasks to be getting on with and you may well find us perusing the high street armed with a folder of fliers again tomorrow.

If anyone can suggest some businesses they know would be happy to help display posters etc, pop us a comment and we'll pay them a happy visit 😊

Posters are starting to pop up in the local area. Thank you SO much to The Salon @ Victoria Street, Spalding. After Glow, Spalding. And The Beauty Room, Spalding for agreeing to display our poster/fliers.

Hello lovely people. Ball plans are coming along slowly but surely. I've just met a very lovely lady, Amanda, at Springfields Events Centre who has pumped an awful lot of enthusiasm into my veins in our brief 10 minute chat.

At the moment we have the very VERY beautiful, but smaller of the two rooms we can set up in at the venue. But as stunning as it is, I don't want it to be big enough for us!!!!
I want us to be TOO BIG for that space. And that relies on us getting bums on seats in the hundreds.

So I beg of you, if you're looking for something to look forward to when the summer ends, help a girl out and buys some ball tickets! I promise it will be the best bash you'll attend this year. And with a brand new catering team, full of modern inspired ideas, the menu will be a reason to attend if nothing else!

The most important reason though of course, is these two beautiful ladies. My sisters Emma and Holly. And the causes we have chosen to honour their memory. The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and LDASS, the Lincolnshire domestic abuse specialist service. Both of whom do life saving work with the Air Ambulance receiving ZERO government funding.

Would you feel happy to donate just ONE floral arrangement that we can use as a table centre and then also use at the end of the night as a raffle prize?

We have no idea yet just how many tables we will have, hopefully many many tables!

In return we will shout out our gratitude as loudly as we can through the event, social media and any materials along the way.

Prices have been set at;
£60 per head for the event including a 3 course sit down meal and entertainment.
£70 for the same, plus £10 worth of raffle tickets.

You can also book tables of 8 or 10, with or without raffle tickets.

We need to see ball tickets being sold, so please please share this event as much as you can. Gather up your friends and get set for a fabulous night for 2 brilliant causes.

The very first Focus Group meeting of 2026 for the The Blue Skies For Holly Charity Ball is underway.

When I initially put it out there that I wanted to do this, I was overwhelmed by others who offered to help in organising etc. If you were one of those people please contact me. The first point on today's meeting is find new people to attend the meetings 🤣

If you live further afield you can still get involved and be in our focus WhatsApp group if you wish ☺️

We're struggling with hitting our minium numbers for this ball to go ahead! We know its a cost, at the end of the year, maybe that uncomfortable distance from Christmas, but these causes are so important.

Do you have 4 other couples who would join you? That's a table of 10 done. Please please gather your friends for a night of eating, drinking, raffle, and dancing the night away.

We have a fabulous band, 3 course meal with coffee (vegan/gluten free options available too).

Let's raise some dosh for victims of domestic abuse and the Notts/Lincs air ambulance service.

This is our first attempt at organising something like this and we'd hate to fail 😭
