Our featured flower this week is the beautiful Echinacea purpurea or Coneflower which we have in our Baytree garden.
They’re loved by pollinators like bees and butterflies as they can easily feed on the pollen. They are very easy to grow in full sun or partial shade in any soil type and are hardy, so can tolerate dry or wet conditions. They’re perennial plants so die back in late autumn and start growing again in spring.

Last week we announced the exciting news that we will be starting a new community garden at the South Holland Health and Wellbeing Hub (formerly the Castle Sports Centre).
As the site is currently under construction, we thought it would be good to invite people who are interested to visit our Wellbeing Garden at Baytree.
