Bathing service
People who do not attend the centre can access the bathing service by appointment with our carer. Transport and food
People using the services at the centre receive transport and a hot, freshly cooked meal using local suppliers. Community nurse
The community nurse visits daily for injections, dressings, blood tests, etc. Information and advice
Staff are always available for information and advice and will signpost to another agency if necessary. A typical day in day care
10.00am — arrive at centre
10.10am — tea, coffee and biscuits are served
10.15am — individual group games for example cards, scrabble, dominoes, Wii and craft making
12:00pm — lunch is served
1.00pm — rest time
1.30pm — group activities for example exercises, new age kurling, quizzes and singing
2.30pm — tea, coffee and cakes are served
3.00pm — leave for home
Costs
The cost of day care is £33.00 including transport or £28.00 without transport. Some people have an assisted place with Lincolnshire County Council through a personalised budget and some people are on a self referral and pay privately.
