The Cricket Asylum Foundation has been formed by a group of local cricket enthusiasts to provide a sustainable and meaningful service to both the wider community in which it operates in, and to the sport of Cricket. An organisation with strong ethical beliefs, with the passion and desire to help all its participants, The Cricket Asylum Foundation is here to give something back. TCAF's Social Aims:

TCAF will provide an inclusive opportunity for disadvantaged people to participate in the game of cricket to make a positive difference to the community and the participants’ health & well being. Cricket is a sport that teaches many life skills, the unique nature of the sport means that participants will learn to perform both as an individual and as part of a team. Patience, resilience, cohesion and concentration are some the qualities people will take from the sport into their normal daily life, with the added benefit of being active and improving one’s health and fitness. Using Cricket, TCAF will bring these life skills to people from disadvantaged backgrounds; providing opportunities not normally available. The Foundation will deliver inclusive coaching sessions to groups such as looked after children, primary schools, special schools and minority groups. These participants will benefit from these life skills and be given the opportunity and support to take up Cricket on a long-term basis. TCAF has a highly skilled team of trustees, with experiences in both playing and coaching cricket to high levels along with expertise in recruitment, business development, events and banking. This wide range of skill sets gives TCAF the experience and knowledge base to succeed as a successful charity. TCAF’s trustees will market the Foundation effectively to give maximum exposure to its corporate partners and increase awareness and recognition in both the Cricket and wider community.

📅 U12s & U14s mainly weekends
🌙 Open Age – Tuesday nights
🌙 Masters – Thursday nights

🦅 NORTHERN FALCONS OPEN TRIAL 🦅

The Northern Falcons are looking to expand our junior indoor teams, and we’re giving young cricketers the opportunity to trial for a place in the squad!

📅 Friday 25th September
📍 The Cricket Asylum

🏏 U12s — 6:30–7:30pm
🏏 U14s & U16s — 7:30–8:30pm

💷 £5 per player

No indoor cricket experience is necessary — but a competent level of cricket ability is required.
