Big story in today’s Mail on Sunday. While Matt Wrack was in charge of the FBU, members’ money was spent on a donation to a Labour MP with whom he was in an undeclared relationship. An FBU staffer was also sent to work in the same MP’s office.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Durham MP Mary Foy is in a relationship with militant former fireman Matt Wrack, who led the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) for two decades until January.

The new general secretary of the NASUWT, Matt Wrack, is facing multiple bullying and racism claims relating to his period as leader of the FBU, according to a newspaper investigation.

Matt Wrack (pictured), a militant socialist who formerly led the Fire Brigades Union (FBU), was named as the new general secretary of the union on Tuesday.
