This Check Your Defib Week (15-21 June) we’re encouraging all Defib Guardians to help save more lives by ensuring their device is rescue-ready and accurately listed on The Circuit.

Some of our team were up unreasonably early on Sunday morning to make their way to the ambulance hub before sorting out vehicles and kit and heading to support our friends and colleagues in St John Ambulance Wirral at the Wirral Coastal Walk

Did you see us at the amazing Southport Food & Drink Festival over the weekend? Our local team were supported by volunteers from St John Ambulance Wirral, Liverpool St John Ambulance Community Network new, Carlisle and Lancashire East.

Our amazing volunteers provided first aid to nearly 50 members of the public, and demonstrated CPR and how to help someone who is choking to over 600 members of our community.

Thanks to our Merseyside Training team, our adult and cadet volunteers have been learning how to keep everyone safe in a major incident this evening

Our volunteers had a very early start this morning, to support our colleagues in Chester at the incredible MBNA Chester 10k.

Could you do what they do? We are currently recruiting for Emergency Responders in Southport and Formby - this is an advanced first aid role with a minimum commitment of 100 operational hours per year, plus training, CPD and attendance at regular meetings.
