On Wednesday 7th October Fermor Lodge 1313 kicked off the new masonic season with the installation of our new Worshipful Master. After a successful year in the chair- during which Fermor Lodge initiated 4 new members to the craft as well as raising 2 brothers to the rank of Master Mason- W.Bro Damon Noone Jr handed over the baton to his Senior Warden and will now serve as our Immediate Past Master for the upcoming season.

The installation of a Worshipful Master into the chair of his lodge marks one of the most important events in his masonic career. In true masonic tradition Fermor Lodge marked the occasion with an excellent display of challenging ritual led by Fermor past master W.Bro Brian Griffiths PPJGW which was performed superbly. Also in attendance was our principal guest W.Bro Graham Chambers PAGDC- representative of the Provincial Grand Lodge of West Lancashire- as well as our very own W.Bro Richard Jenkinson PProvJGD who represented the Southport Masonic Group.

Following the formal installation ceremony brethren retired to the festive board during which a three course banquet was served. In keeping with the lodge's commitment to charity, brethren and guests of Fermor Lodge raised over £350 for good causes through our collection and prize raffle. A successful evening all round!

Good luck Neil for the year ahead from all brethren of Fermor Lodge 1313!
