We’re hiring freelance workshop facilitators ✨

Art Ease CIC is growing, and we’re looking to expand our facilitator bank.

We are looking for creative practitioners who may be interested in delivering workshops on behalf of Art Ease as opportunities arise.

This could be a great fit for:
• Artists
• Illustrators
• Makers
• Muralists
• Art educators
• Creative wellbeing facilitators

Our workshops support people of all ages and abilities through creativity, mindfulness and community connection, and take place in a variety of settings across Southport, Sefton and beyond.

Please note:
• This is not an employed position
• Work is offered on a casual freelance basis
• Opportunities vary depending on funding and project availability
• Applicants must hold a DBS or be willing to obtain one
• Previous workshop or facilitation experience is preferred

☀️ June’s Sketchbook Club!! 🌞

This month we’re joined by Artist and Educator Lauren McInerney and its all about cyanotype – one of the earliest photographic printing processes and a wonderfully playful way to create beautiful blue botanical prints!

Join us for a relaxed Saturday morning of creativity, conversation and experimentation as we explore this fascinating process together. Bring your sketchbook, meet fellow creatives, try something new and enjoy a little time carved out just for yourself.

No pressure, no expectations – just curiosity, creativity and community. 💙

Whether you’re a seasoned sketchbook keeper or haven’t opened one in years, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Five free spaces available in our Mindful Drawing Group

We are pleased to say we now have five free spaces available in our current 8-week Mindful Drawing programme.

The group takes place every Wednesday from 1pm–3pm at Southport Community Centre, Norwood Road.

These relaxed sessions are suitable for complete beginners and focus on mindful drawing, creativity and wellbeing in a friendly, supportive environment.

💛 No previous art experience needed

To join, you must be available to attend the remaining five Wednesday sessions, starting 17th June.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you are allocated one of the spaces, we will respond to your email by the end of the week with more info. Please note that spaces are limited and we may not be able to respond to individual enquiries if all places are filled.

🎨 Mindful Drawing with Art Ease CIC 🎨

Sometimes it helps to slow things down for a little while.

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming mindful drawing session with Art Ease CIC, designed to help you switch off from everyday pressures, enjoy some creative time, and connect with others in a calm and supportive space.

You don’t need any artistic experience, and there is no pressure to create anything perfect. The focus is on the process rather than the outcome, making it suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already enjoy drawing.
