Hi friends! This week’s new arrival is Daisy the five year old chihuahua who has come from the same home as Dolly and Boo.
Daisy is being spayed on Wednesday and will also check her teeth while she’s asleep, catch her up with vaccinations and get her all ready for her new home.
Daisy is a very timid girl and it’s taking some time for her to relax, but we are hoping in a quiet home with the right family she will come on in leaps and bounds.
Look out for the chihuahua profiles which will go on the website in due course 💖🐶🐶🐶

Realising with all these cute Chihuahua posts that people might have forgotten about Big Col and wondered how he was 🤣🙋🏻‍♀️🐶
Colin the XL bully is still here of course and next month it will be three years since I decided to go and meet this terrified big boy despite everyone telling me I was crazy. Seized by police, in kennels with a red card on his door telling staff to show caution and not to handle him 😭💔 he had sores all over his feet and a chronic ear infection, he wouldn’t come and go through the hatch into his indoor area so spent most of the time sleeping outside in the concrete run because he was too afraid to go inside. My straight talking vet told me ‘you’re good Christina, but I think you’ve bitten off more than you can chew with this one’ 😳😳😳
Who was I kidding when I said I’d go and just walk him a few times 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I saw the photos of him and remember thinking I’d never seen a dog has handsome as him, literally like love at first sight. Colin was home within a few weeks and then the XL bully ban was announced meaning I’d just inherited a banned breed dog with a checkered past and no idea what I was going to do with him.
So here is Col Dog tonight before going to bed, some more grey whiskers poking through, a few years older but still just as gorgeous. There is probably no dog out there as loyal as this boy and despite the funny looks I’ve had pushing a pram with a muzzled 40kg dog, I’d not change him for the world and I’m glad he’s here 💕🐶

The change in just one day 😍😍😍 Dolly and Boo are feeling much braver and already making themselves at home.

Tomorrow Dolly is going for a spay and a dental, but Boo will need to wait a little longer as today she has come into season. This will slightly delay her rehoming as we will not let her leave before being neutered. We don’t know yet how bonded this pair are as it’s not always immediately obvious in a house with lots of other dogs, but if they can’t be split then we will need to wait for them both to be ready.

A huge welcome to two tiny friends! Today saw Dolly and Boo the little Chihuahuas join us in foster due to a change in their owners circumstances. This miniature pair are a little timid at the moment but are definitely in the right place with their foster friends who are also all true Little Legs 😍🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 weighing in at only just over 2kg each, it’s hard to see from photos exactly how diddy they really are 💕💕💕
It’s likely they will both need dentals along with their neutering and vaccinations so no enquiries just yet. We will update everyone this week with how they are getting on 💕
