A few days ago, some 20 pigs were let lose on the A127 near Dunton

As we understand it, 5 were shot by police and some were rounded up. This little girl was hiding in someone's garden and the Police arranged for her to be shot at lunchtime today

We were able to get there first!

She's now safe at the sanctuary, but we need your help

We are desperately short of volunteers to join the bread run team which involves picking up bread cakes and produce from a supermarket in Brentwood and fetching it to the sanctuary where it helps to feed the rescued piggies

Also if you'd like to adopt Abigail from just £1 a month, please message or comment and our admin bear Percy will be in touch

Rescue video will be out together soon

We can't do this without your support ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Today was spend mostly rounding up the Highlands ready for next week's TB testing

This is an incredibly stressful time at the Sanctuary as all the cattle have to be tested every 4 years

Encouraging them off the fields today was a challenge to say the least! But all back now in their barns and hard standing yards untill the tests are complete

The farm vet will need to inject each cow with 2 types of TB in trace form and then check the injection site a few days later to see how the animal has reacted. A decision is then made as to whether the animal has TB or not

We are all praying that they are all clear, as animals that have the wrong reaction to the injections have to be destroyed by UK law 😢

Please keep fingers crossed for the gang, we have nearly 50 rescued cows to be tested next week

Thank you
