Southend Storehouse The Storehouse is an outreach ministry of Southend Vineyard, a Christian church serving the community

The Storehouse is primarily a foodbank with a community cafe open to users of our service. We give out tea, coffee, breakfasts, lunches, food bags, clothes from our charity shop, and signpost people to relevant services that work within the surrounding area. We also offer volunteering opportunities and wellbeing support. The service is available to those who are vulnerable, in need of support, or

anyone experiencing a crisis like homelessness, unemployment, and benefit delay, amongst others. We also have Family Storehouse once a week, which has developed out of a need for Storehouse service users, who are parents of young children, to have a safe environment in which to use our facilities.

If you are fairly new to Southend Vineyard or are looking for a church, you are invited to join us for a light lunch and chance to find out more about us on Sunday 12th July. This newcomers event will start at about 1pm once we've cleared up after the 11am service. We meet at The Bridge, next to PopWorld opposite Warrior Square Carpark.

💛 Southend Storehouse donation station at The Victoria Shopping Centre, Southend 💛

We’re proud to be supporting Southend Storehouse, our Charity of the Year for 2026, and we’re happy to host our in centre donation box to help their vital work in the local community

The Storehouse, run by Southend Vineyard, has been supporting people across Southend for over 20 years - providing essential food supplies, warm meals, welcoming spaces, and ongoing support for individuals and families facing hardship, loneliness, and the pressures of the cost-of-living crisis

How you can help:

We are now collecting donations of non-perishable food items and everyday essentials, including:
- Pasta, rice, cereal, tinned goods
- Tea, coffee, long-life milk
- Toiletries and hygiene products
- Toothpaste, deodorant, sanitary items

Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a real difference to someone in our community
