Heartbroken, but incredibly grateful. 💔✨

Following the break-in at our store last Sunday, it’s been an emotionally tough week for our team. To our staff and volunteers: your resilience, love, and hard work have been nothing short of inspiring. We acknowledge how deeply unsettling and upsetting this experience has been, and we are so proud of how everyone has pulled together.

To the amazing volunteers who rushed in to clean up, repair, and help us pick up the pieces, thank you. We truly couldn’t have gotten through this without your hands and hearts.

And to our wonderful supporters: your kind messages, visits, and words of encouragement mean the world to us right now. The best way to help us heal and keep moving forward is to continue supporting us in any way you can!

Speaking of moving forward, we’d love to see your friendly faces! Next week is Love Our Planet Week, and we’re hosting FREE workshops across both of our store locations. Come by, learn something new, say hello, and help us turn a tough week into something positive for our planet.

As promised, here are the details for our FREE workshops during Love Our Planet Week at Shared Space! 🌍✨

​Join us for a week of fun, learning, and sharing eco-friendly tips & tricks. Here’s how you can get involved:

​🪡 Mend, Repair & Rewear

Bring along your favourite clothes in need of a little TLC! These are drop-in sessions, no booking required, just turn up and learn simple repair techniques to keep your wardrobe in rotation.

📍 Westcliff (SS0 9LG): Tue 20th Oct, 10am–12pm

📍 Southchurch (SS1 2PN): Thu 22nd Oct, 1pm–3pm

🌍 Love Our Planet Week is coming! (19–25 October 2026) 💚

At Shared Space, we're using this week to focus on how we can all show a little extra care for our environment and make a real difference in our day-to-day lives.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing practical tips, simple eco-swaps, and helpful hints on how small actions like repairing clothes, reducing waste, and choosing sustainable habits can add up to big change.

We’ve got a fantastic lineup of in-store events, workshops, and drop-in sessions coming up at both our Southchurch and Westcliff shops. Keep an eye out. F ull event details, timings, and host announcements are coming very soon!
