Project Southchurch continue to work on the E:Qube which will go live the early part of 2027. The EastQuarter refers to the Core East wards of Kursaal, Southchurch, St Lukes and Thorpe. It's designed to rebalance Southend and encompass the forgotten area as part of the city as a whole.

E:Qube is a digital retail platform designed to unite businesses across the EastQuarter.

Features
• Interactive store location mapping.
• Digital "TradeSpaces" reflecting real retail locations.
• Direct links to retailer websites and social media.
• Real-time promotions and offers.
• Location-based customer engagement.

The initiative bridges the gap between online and physical retail, encouraging residents and visitors to move from "clicks to bricks" by supporting local businesses in person.
