A great day out today. was passing through Hampshire on his Tower Power ride on a BEAMZ bike. Jordan decided to add the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to his score an to celebrate by abseiling down the Tower. He asked me to take a look at a gear issue. This morning Volunteer Richard and I set off to ride to Portsmouth. We arrived in time to see Jordan’s successful descent. We fixed the gear by fitting a new cable and made the return ferry trip. After that Richard and I had the privilege of joining a part of the ride. Jordan and Clive set a challenging pace, at one point breaking into a sprint. One of the most rewarding moments was when Jordan told me he had never been a cycling fan, but during the course of the last 25 days of averaging over 100km per day on the bike I built him he had come to love cycling. Follow Jordan’s adventures at towerpower2024.com/track-live and check out his posts to hear about the great causes his ride is supporting.
