Our next Memory Mondays feature is called People Behind Abby's Heroes 💜 This week, we're celebrating the incredible volunteers who have been at the heart of Abby's Heroes for the last 10 years ✨
Quite simply, we couldn't do what we do without them.
What started as a small charity around Sally's dining room table, with friends and family giving up their time to help, has grown into something far bigger than we could ever have imagined. While many of those original volunteers are still part of the Abby's Heroes family today, we've also welcomed so many amazing people along the way 💜
Over the years, our volunteers have helped at events, cheered on fundraisers, sold raffle tickets, set up venues, packed goody bags, and done countless other jobs behind the scenes. Every role, big or small, has helped us continue supporting children with cancer and their families.
One of the most wonderful things about volunteering is the friendships it creates. Some of our closest friends have come through Abby's Heroes, and we've met volunteers in so many different ways. Together, we've shared laughs, challenges, celebrations, and unforgettable memories.
To every single person who has volunteered for Abby's Heroes over the last decade, thank you. Your time, enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication mean the world to us. We are so grateful for each and every one of you 🌟
