We love it when staff and families join in with our reminiscence sessions so everyone enjoys some fun and laughter whilst recalling their memories of the past.

£5000 could pay our office rent and business rates for one year, provide 100 free reminiscence sessions, or enable us to print 2500 activity magazines for free distribution.

We cannot hardly believe that our time with our students from Queen Mary's College in Basingstoke is coming to an end soon. These young people have worked really hard and have been a credit to the College and their families.

It's Monday again and time for another take over of Chesil Lodge Resource Centre by students from the University of Wi******er. We love being with the service users and staff, and watching the students grow in confidence is so satisfying.

We are so lucky to be able to facilitate this lovely Sunday afternoon get together free of charge thanks to the generosity of 3 funders. Cake is plentiful, tea pots flow and much laughter and camaraderie enjoyed. Join us on 12th April.

We're pleased to announce that we are once again working in partnership with Queen Mary's College, Basingstoke thanks to funding from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.

Two cohorts of Health and Social Care students will receive dementia awareness, empathy, communication and reminiscence skills training followed by four weeks placement in care settings in Basingstoke. Kayte was welcomed by Cohort 1 last Thursday and is looking forward to taking them into Newman Court and Oak Lodge tomorrow.
