A huge thank you to Alison and her family for organising a wonderful afternoon of music, cake, and community spirit in support of Maggie's Southampton.

Guests enjoyed a fantastic brass band concert along with delicious cakes and refreshments, all while raising vital funds for people affected by cancer.

Thanks to their hard work and the generosity of everyone who attended, they raised an incredible £608! 🎉

Every pound raised helps us continue providing free practical, emotional, and psychological support to people living with cancer, and their family and friends. 🧡

A huge thank you to Katy for conquering a skydive in support of Maggie's Southampton.

After being diagnosed with a brain tumour at 33 weeks pregnant, Katy faced an incredibly difficult journey. Following the birth of her son, she underwent six weeks of radiotherapy in Southampton, often separated from her partner, four-year-old child, and newborn baby while staying away from home for treatment.

Throughout that time, Maggie's became a place of comfort, support, and connection.

Katy shared: "Without Maggie's, I don't know how I would have got through the treatment or the long and lonely days. Seeing a friendly and caring face before and after treatment became part of my daily routine and coping mechanism."

Thanks to her determination and the generosity of her supporters, Katy raised an incredible £1,723 🎉

We are so grateful for Katy's kindness, courage, and commitment to giving back. With her efforts, it will help Maggie's continue providing free practical, emotional, and psychological support to people living with cancer, and their family and friends.

Join us for our Brain Tumour Support Group, a welcoming and supportive space for patients and their partners to connect with others who understand the challenges that a brain tumour diagnosis can bring.
