Can you help us create Memory Lane at Lockswood?
At Age Concern Lockswood Day Centre, we’re hoping to create a little Memory Lane for our clients, with different areas bringing back memories of days gone by.
We’d love to include things like an old-fashioned post office, a village shop, a railway station, a coat stand with hats and scarves, an old telephone and a traditional kitchen.
We’re looking for donations of unwanted items that people might have tucked away at home. We’re trying to keep costs down and reuse things wherever possible.

• Old suitcases and railway memorabilia
• Postcards, old letters and address books
• Hats, scarves, handbags and gloves
• Old telephones and telephone directories
• Teapots, biscuit tins and old kitchen utensils
• Shopping baskets, old jars and tins
• Old photographs, magazines and picture frames
If you have anything you think might be suitable and would be happy to donate it, please send us a message before dropping it off.
Even the smallest donation would be a great help and we’d be really grateful for any support from our local community.
