Southampton Round Table was founded in 1928, and is the fourth oldest Round Table in the world.

Round Table is all about fun, friendship and trying something new and exciting. It helps you grow as an individual and as a team player from our various activities such as sports, pub socials, organising events to raise money for local charities and attending family social events.

A fantastic afternoon meeting a fellow tabler from India.

Paras, from Haridwar Round Table 369 in India, was in Southampton visiting his brother and asked if he could meet some fellow Tablers while he was here. He’d be gone before our next monthly meeting, so we sorted lunch by the water and a few drinks at Figurati Southampton in the sun instead.

Two Tables, thousands of miles apart, and it took one email to make it happen.

That’s Round Table. Wherever you go, there’s a Table, and someone will happily make time for you.

Thanks to for this feature, marking the occasion as our new Chairman, .schutrups took the RT4 reins from Ben Fowler.

Last year we achieved some fantastic accomplishments and raised over £40,000 for amazing local causes.

There are some big plans for this year, led by Chris, as we continue to build on our successes and support more great causes doing fantastic work in our community.

Fantastic evening at for our monthly business meeting. Great to see so many in attendance, as well as welcoming a few guests along to find out what Roundtable is all about. Table numbers are looking really strong!

A number of us made the trip to Vejle in Denmark over the weekend to join in for the annual Roundtable Ports meeting.

The hospitality shown to us by our local host table was incredible, with a very well organised and executed weekend, which was enjoyed by all.

Highlights included a tour and dinner in an old prison, a gala dinner, many nights out with free-flowing drinks, and a fantastic home-hosted evening.

A fantastic night last night as we welcomed in our new Chairman, Chris Schutrups. Chris also welcomed Brian Butcher as his President for the year.

Chris gave his thanks to outgoing President Ben Fowler for a fantastic year, and expressed his excitement for all of the great work Southampton RT4 will do this year.

We all wish Chris a fantastic year as Chairman, and look forward to seeing what the year has in store.

Last night, Southampton Round Table proudly hosted our annual Cheque Giving Night at the Harbour Hotel, hosted by our Chairman, Ben Fowler.

It was a fantastic and heartwarming evening that brought together our members and their families to celebrate a hugely successful year of fundraising. Through the collective efforts of the Round Table £40,000 has been raised for charitable causes in and around Southampton.

A particularly special part of the evening was hearing directly from representatives of the charities we support. Learning more about the vital work they do, and how the funds raised will be used to make a real and positive difference within our local community, truly reinforced the impact of our efforts.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our events, donated their time, and contributed to another outstanding year of fundraising. Together, we continue to make a meaningful difference in the community we are proud to be part of.

Southampton Round Table 4 are delighted to be co-hosting another event at in support of Southampton Neo Natal unit.

7th March from 18:45, Guests will be welcomed and hosted in style at the fantastic The Grand venue, with a three course meal, as well as live entertainment and a DJ.

Tickets are available on Seven Rooms, and all proceeds raised will go towards supporting these fantastically worthy causes.
