Digital inclusion is so important to make sure that nobody, especially older people and diverse communities, is left behind in today’s digital world.
A big thank you to everyone who joined our Digital Inclusion and Online Safety session delivered by Cross-Culture Hub in collaboration with the University of Southampton.
It was wonderful to see people from different communities coming together to learn about deepfakes, online scams, digital safety and how to use technology with more confidence.
Thank you to all our participants and volunteers who participated and made the event a success.
Special thanks to Chi Ying Lam, Sarah Kiden, Indu Bodala, Jennifer Williams and volunteers from the University of Southampton.

Hi Friends. Please take a moment to listen to this powerful podcast. It takes incredible courage to share the story of a loved one lost to Cancer and to speak openly about their Cancer journey. By sharing these personal experiences, we not only honour their memory but also help raise awareness, encourage early support and remind others that they are not alone.

Digital inclusion is important to ensure that diverse communities and older people are not left behind in today’s fast-changing digital world. By building confidence in using technology, we can help people stay connected, access important services, learn new skills and protect themselves from online risks such as scams and deepfakes.
This Friday, 22nd May 2026, Cross-Culture Hub is collaborating with the University of Southampton to deliver a special interactive session on deepfakes, online safety and navigating today’s digital world.
Join us for this important session and learn how to stay informed and safe in the digital age.
All are welcome.
