This , in collaboration with Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire we invited carers to join us for a special Tea & Cake party at Horrill Care and Wellbeing Centre - guests were treated to a cuppa and some delicious cakes, which were very kindly donated by Carpathia Grange Care Home.

Whether you're helping with appointments, preparing meals, offering a listening ear, managing medications or simply being there when someone needs you most, the care you give makes an immeasurable difference. Caring can be rewarding, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding, often with little time left to focus on yourself.

To every carer in our Hampshire communities: thank you. Your patience, kindness, strength and dedication do not go unnoticed. We see the difference you make, and we celebrate everything you do to help older people live well, safely and with dignity.

With around 85 volunteers supporting our wide range of services for older people across Hampshire, we truly mean it when we say we wouldn't be where we are without their unwavering support, day in - day out. Last week, our Hospital to Home team at Gosport War Memorial Hospital - Ark Royal Ward celebrated Dementia Action Week with a 'Have a Cuppa Tea' party, raising a fantastic £266.45 for Dementia UK and a great day was had by all.

The party was attended by staff, patients, the town mayor and local councillors. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us and make it such a success.
