We are Beyond Reflections, a charity operating in England and Wales, supporting trans+ people and their families.

Beyond Reflections is a registered charity (1187351) supporting trans+ people, their families and close friends at safe, confidential meetings across Hampshire and Dorset. We offer one-to-one counselling, workshops, facilitated group work, advocacy, advice, training, networking and other support. Did you take part in our creative workshops and want to see what we've done with your words? or want to have the chance to make sure your experience as a trans person is reflected in our performance? Our Community Creative Collaborations are the perfect chance to offer us your feedback and help shape "I Was Always Here"!
These sessions will take place every Monday (except 20th July) from 5 pm to 6 pm, at Theatre Royal Wi******er. It is free to attend, but there are limited places due to space constraints so please book ahead by visiting this website:

This time next week! Our cafe social runs every 1st Wednesday; it's a relaxed environment to unwind, meet other trans folks, and have a delicious beverage. .woolston is open exclusively for this event so be prepared for a lovely evening of trans-only coffee drinking. From 6-8pm.

Here's what we're currently searching for:

🎓Qualified Counsellors and Therapists
are you a counsellor who has some spare time and wants to give back a little? want to diversify your clientele? not to mention that sweet sweet CPD and free training? Then come volunteer with us! You can take on as many or as few cases as you like and you'll be doing something incredibly valuable for a vulnerable group.

📖 Book Club Volunteers
no degree needed for this one! you just have to love books and reading and talking about books and reading. That's it. We just need a couple of volunteers to help run our trans book club 🤷

🗺 Support Group Volunteers NOT from Southampton and Portsmouth.
yes, you read that right. We're a charity that mostly works in Southampton and Portsmouth and we're looking for volunteers to help out in our online support groups NOT from that area. We need kind and empathic q***r and trans people to support our members who aren't going to recognise them from last Saturday's drag brunch.

Today is International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (or IDAHOBIT) a day where we highlight the fight for q***r rights that still very much needs fighting, whilst also celebrating the community and how far we have come. This years theme is "At the heart of democracy" in order to serve as a "powerful reminder that the soil of truly democratic societies must be rich in meaningful equity and justice for all, fostering the flourishing of the entire community."
So please join us in continuing to fight for q***r people all over the globe and celebrating 36 years to the day since the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases!
