Touch CIC

Touch CIC We share and celebrate everyday stories of resilience. By doing so, we prevent struggles with mental wellbeing beginning, or getting worse. Take ownership of it.

We’re big picture thinkers. We want storytelling to become the beating heart of our city. Our vision is to enable storytelling events to take place in every neighbourhood across our city, to bring people together both in person and through an online community, sharing stories, creating connection and inspiring hope. We want to empower our community to articulate their own story. See the positives

and recognise their courage. Together, we want to create memories. Social events where people are encouraged to believe in themselves and given the confidence to deal with tomorrow and the next day, and whatever life throws at them. We do life, together.

We are sad to let you know that Touch will be closing in the coming months.

We've tried hard to make it work, but our current income levels and confirmed projects are not enough to keep us going into the future. We've thought long and hard about this, and as a team, feel that closing is the most responsible course of action for everyone involved.

We love what we have created at Touch Network and are proud of what we've achieved over the last 10 years. We couldn't have done it without the brilliant community that has grown around our work.

Finishing well feels important to us, and we want to celebrate the legacy of what we have all built together.

We will be holding our next Storytelling Event on Thursday 26 February at Coffee #1, and our final event on Wednesday 25 March (Venue TBC) — a special evening to celebrate the stories, people, and moments that have shaped the work of Touch. We hope you will join us as we reflect and celebrate the brilliant impact of Touch Network and thank everyone for making it happen.
