This year kitten season seems to be continuous!
Anyone considering kittens please remember those that have found their way into rescue.
We need homes for pairs, where they will have access to gardens away from main roads.
Our kittens are wormed, vaccinated and microchipped. They can come with 4 weeks free insurance. When applying please remember to factor in the cost of spaying and neutering.
The application can be found by clicking on the “enquire about a cat” button on the cat page of our website.
If you are not in the position to adopt kittens perhaps you can support our work by donating food or cat litter ( we use recycled paper or wood based due to our drainage system)

CAN YOU HELP US PLEASE?

Over the last few weeks we have been trying to trap approximately 2 dozen cats (the exact number is still not clear) at a farm slightly out of our usual area. Their ages range from 4 months to 4 years.

They are not feral cats as they are being fed in the farmhouse and regularly warm their toes by the Aga in the cold weather. Having now been neutered they will continue to settle further into being normal domestic cats but will probably still want their independence to explore and hunt.

We are trying very hard to find homes for them that are semi rural where they can come and go when they want, eat and sleep in the house if they feel like it but can have access to a barn, a stable or some other cosy outhouse if they prefer. Unfortunately as Portsmouth is one of the most built upon areas in the country this is going to be a big challenge with so many cats all at once.

If you can offer 1 or 2 of them a home please call, if not, please let any of your friends know who might be able to and if you haven’t any friends (besides us) please share this for us.
