We love sport, especially the Premier League! Over the past few years, we’ve been delighted to receive football shirts generously donated by several professional clubs, which we’ve had the joy of distributing to children across the world.

💥 We're planning to secure 𝟭𝟬 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟭 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, and we've already had a few people express interest. The races are either for a 5k, 10k, half marathon or a marathon!

So, we invited independent PhD researcher Esther Robins (in the picture), who studies child trauma and neuroscience, to take a closer look at CRY—our projects, our partnerships and our approach.

The result?

A 46-page independent user-friendly Impact Report exploring what we do, how we do it, and the difference it’s making.

The findings are so encouraging: CRY’s locally led, relational, holistic and long-term approach is helping children feel safe, grow, develop and build a future beyond poverty.

🇵🇰 🏫 This week, our CEO is in Pakistan visiting one of our project partners — a school serving some of the country’s most vulnerable children.

The school, which is almost entirely supported by CRY, offers children an alternative to a bleak reality.

For some, the alternative to education can mean working to produce as many as 1,000 bricks a day under bonded labour arrangements. For others, it means staying at home to care for younger siblings while their parents go out to work.

Just a few hours before this clip was recorded, our CEO witnessed some of these realities first-hand — a powerful reminder of just how crucial access to education is.

Thanks to your generosity, and through the incredible work of our local partners, CRY is helping offer a different path: a pathway to hope, opportunity and the chance to break the cycle of poverty.

Here, our CEO speaks to the pupils about the fundamental right of every child to an education — encouraging them to value the opportunity before them, take their education seriously and thrive.
