*Sparks U12s Blacks v Havant & Waterlooville*

Final score: 7-0 Sparks

The U12s Blacks are in the hat for the next round of the Hampshire cup.

In a slightly different format, we played 60 mins instead of our usual 80 in JPL. The boys moved the ball with purpose and slowly wore down a spirited Havant team who looked determined to turn around their poor Mid Solent A league form.

Analysis on the game will definitely be focused around their possession retention and excellent final third decision making.

Enjoy the goals!

What a performance from the U9 REDs this morning! ⚽️

Playing 7 aside against a top Clanfield U10’s team who play a year up in div 2 Solent.

The boys were outstanding all over the pitch 🔥

With no subs, we played 4x 13 min quarters and the boys fitness, commitment, workrate and ability on the ball was really impressive.

Clanfield had a squad of 10 with 3x older players, but our press, passing and movement off the ball didn’t allow them to get a foothold in the game.

POTM: Alfie 🏆 who was relentless with his energy, desire and composure on the ball. 👏🏻

Arguably our best performance to date as a team 💪🏼

We’re really proud of all the boys, as it shows the levels they can reach when really tested against a top team - Up the Reds! ⚽️ ⚡️

Silvers u9’s v GSC Lions Greys

Parents PoTM: George
Coaches PoTM: Jamie

Duration: 48 mins

Format: 5v5

A very good performance today from our lads, having watched back the match we dominated the full mate.

*In possession* we got the ball forward quickly from back to front however the most pleasing thing was the lads made several back or sideways passes to shift the play! Go silvers! ⚡️

Great first game of the season today for U10 Blacks against Gosport Borough. Boys worked really hard, showed brilliant teamwork and there were some fantastic individual performances too.

Tricky pitch with long grass and a few bobbles, but the boys adapted really well and kept playing some great football.

A really strong all-round team performance ⚡️ ⚽️

U12 golds started the season with a tough 2-1 defeat. We went down 2-0 early on and pulled a goal back before half time. Then peppered there goal throughout the second half but the opposition goalkeeper was on fire. Any other day would have been an easy win. Onwards and upwards lots of positives ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

POTD George F & a fantastic work rate from the whole team meant the boys went home happy!
Was great to see a little bit more passing and the boys putting in to practice what the coaches have been working on at training. As always there's loads still to do individually and as a team.

Great morning for the Sparks U7 Blacks against Lee Rangers in our first league game!

Two well matched teams, end to end, and some brilliant moments from both sets of players. Ours kept their shape, shared the ball and never stopped running.

Smiles all round at full time, which is the bit that matters.

Huge well done Blacks ⚡️⚽️⚡️
