Some tributes take your breath away. 🪂

On 4 July, one of our supporters, Radhika Gheewala, is taking on a 15,000ft tandem skydive in memory of her father, Kirtikumar - and her niece - both lost to mesothelioma.

She calls it "Reaching for the Sky." Her dad always pushed her to reach new heights and live life fully, so she's honouring him in the most literal way she can.

Mesothelioma is caused almost entirely by asbestos, often 20 to 50 years after exposure, and there is still no cure. Behind every diagnosis is a family facing heartbreak - Radhika's family has faced it twice.

Her £100,000 goal will support HASAG and Michael Sobell Hospice: vital research, specialist care, and support for families like hers.

This weekend, our 20 for 20 fundraising carried on in style with a fantastic Simply Mick Tribute Night 🎤✨
It was wonderful to come together as a community, raising vital funds for research and support for those affected by asbestos‑related diseases.
With brilliant music, a delicious Indian buffet, and an exciting raffle, the night was full of fun and generosity.

Two decades ago, HASAG began with a single, painful loss - and a refusal to let other families go through it without support.

In 2026 we turn 20. Our 20for20 campaign runs twenty challenges through the year, funding the free counselling, practical support and research that people living with mesothelioma and asbestos-related disease depend on.

That. Was. Brilliant.

What an incredible evening at the Mixed Netball Tournament! The court was full of energy, laughter, and so much heart - and we couldn't be prouder of everyone who took part.

Just one month until Action Mesothelioma Day - and we can't wait!

Friday 3rd July 2026 is Action Mesothelioma Day - a special annual event dedicated to raising awareness of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases, where patients, families, loved ones, and those working to support them come together to honour those affected and stand united in the fight for better care, support, and research.

We are counting down the days - and we have something rather lovely to share with you today.

These gorgeous handmade wooden windmills have been kindly donated by one of our wonderful supporters and will be auctioned on the day. They are absolutely beautiful, and we are so touched by this generous gesture.
