Thanks to Asma Bibi for the post x

This is on Winsford local page:

SAD APPEAL

At Winsford Grange Care Home we have a funeral for one of our residents at 10am on 12th August at Chester Crematorium.

He unfortunately only has his wife who also lives with us and one friend who will attend. His wife has heart breakingly asked us to try and make sure he doesn't have an empty funeral.

He was a proud army man who served for our country and it seems very sad that he won't have many people there to say thank you for his service and wish him goodbye.

If anyone in the local area could make it to Chester we would be so grateful if you could attend so his wife isn't greeted with an empty chapel. Especially any army veterans or currently serving soldiers who could attend and provide a flag for us to drape over him would be so appreciated.

He also has no one to provide flowers. So we in the home are going to make some floral arrangements over this weekend. If anyone has any spare flowers from their gardens or if you work in a supermarket locally and have any out of date flowers this weekend, we would be very grateful for any donated flowers to make the arrangements. We can pick them up or you can drop them at the home.

Thanks so much in advance ❤️
