Just a reminder that spaces are limited (and filling up fast) for our upcoming Spiritual Growth Day, ‘Seasons: Autumn’.

As the seasons change, autumn offers a natural opportunity to slow down, take stock and spend intentional time with God.

Join Bev, Nicky and Mel for a day exploring what this season can teach us about our journey with God. Through various creative expressions and practices, there’ll be space to consider what we might need to let go of and where God might be inviting us to grow.

Part of our ‘Seasons’ series, the day is designed to give you time away from the everyday and space to listen, reflect and connect with God.

A little update from our latest Team Development Day! 🙌

We recently gathered as a team, bringing together City Life Church employees, including those working across our Community Connections.

It was a great opportunity for some team building, catching up and hearing about everything that’s happening across City Life Church and our wider community – including CLEAR and its recent Afghan Support initiative, Amber, Hope Into Action Southampton, Night Light, Street Light and our recently launched Light Groups.

There’s lots happening across our church and Community Connections, and we hope it’s encouraging to hear a little about how our teams are working together to serve people across Southampton. ✨ Could your Church Community host a Light Party?

Light Parties are a great way for children and families to enjoy a fun and meaningful faith-based alternative to Halloween celebrations.

Rather than holding one central Light Party this year, we’d love to encourage our Church Communities to consider hosting one – inviting families from church as well as friends, neighbours and others in the community.

And you don’t have to start from scratch! We have a helpful resource pack full of ideas for games, snacks, themes and activities to help you put together a brilliant event.

Alternatively, families may like to see whether another church or organisation is hosting a Light Party in their local area.

It’s nearly time for our annual Vision Night & AGM!

Join us on Wednesday 21 October for an evening together as we share what’s happening across City Life, hear updates from the charity and look ahead to what’s next. We’ll also be sharing a curry together during the evening.
