Huge thank you to Cllr Laura O’Halloran for your visit tonight!

What a fab job the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides have done so far!

We look forward to seeing them on display soon with Laura's growing poppy collection 😊

This evening I was very kindly invited to visit Gang Warily Guide and Scout HQ to talk to the Brownies and Guides about my Poppy display.

It was a pleasure to speak to the girls about the history behind Remembrance Day, the Poppy and why we mark this important day.
We discussed how I made the Poppies and how we can display them.

The girls did a great job of creating lots of lovely Poppies this evening 👌Looking forward to seeing them on display later this year girls 👍

Last Monday the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers all received the newly released 2nd Badge book as well as all their badges from last term they had worked so hard on!

WELL DONE! to all those who received:
Interest Badges (Animal lover, Drawing among the few)
Skills builders (lead, make change etc)
Theme awards (Skills for my future, Express myself)
Bronze awards (2 theme awards, 2 skills builder and 2 interest badges)
and a very Late Rainbow GOLD award! (6 interest badges, 6 skills builders, 6 Theme awards and a 3 part Challenge).

What will you all earn this term? don't forget interest badges are easy and can be done at home with minimal adult help!

On 31/08 and then last weekend Amy, Catherine, Mark and Wendy got busy with bokes, Skips, the management Container and the Ranger room!

Well done you 4 for all the hard work!

Everything is starting to look a bit clearer and heading towards being a better and safer place for all the young people and volunteers we support!

HELP!
Over the years we have been donated lots of electrical items for our rummage sales. Unfortunately there are to many restrictions for us to be able to sell these on and they are taking up space that we need to recover. We also have 2x 3 seater mouse infested sofas to dispose of (these are not in an area the young people can access).

Do you know anyone who could come and collect the lot and dispose of the items safely for us please? This could be someone willing to do a recycling centre/tip/dump run or someone with a waste carriers licence.

A massive thank you to Ray of Simply Pat who visited our HQ on 18/08/2025 to carry out our pat testing for us.
We couldn't open up to the 8 units (Squirrels, Rainbows, Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Guides, Scouts and Rangers) who run in the building without these jobs being completed and the support is gratefully received!

Hi ya!
we are looking for a tree professional to come and help us with our Trees!
Over the last 2 years through the storms we have experienced some damage in our woodland area and it is now unsafe for us to use with our groups. You must be knowledgeable about TPO's, local endangered wildlife and be prepared to get muddy due to the stream/bog that runs on the boundary of the property.
