Good luck to everyone receiving their GCSE results today 💙

Just remember, your grades do not define you or decide what your future is going to look like.

If you got the results you wanted, be proud of yourself! And if you didn’t, please don’t think that means you’ve failed. There are always other options, different routes and ways to get to where you want to be. Sometimes it just takes a slightly different path.

We also want to mention the young people who, for whatever reason, didn’t get the chance to sit their exams at all. We know today can be really difficult watching everyone else collect their results, but please don’t feel like you’ve been left behind. You still have a future, you still have options and you can still achieve everything you want to achieve. 💙

A piece of paper will never determine how successful you can be in life.

And if today hasn’t gone how you hoped, you didn’t get to sit your exams, or you just don’t know what your next step is, please reach out to us at LJ’s World. This is exactly why we are here and we will do everything we can to support you and help you work out what comes next.

Meet our Maths tutor Susan. She has truly gone above and beyond to support LJ’s World and the children she works with.

Susan brings extensive experience from both mainstream and Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools. She’s a fully qualified mathematics teacher with a master’s degree in the teaching & learning of mathematics and she has an amazing ability to make maths fun while meeting each child’s individual learning needs.

We always receive incredible feedback from both parents and children about the difference it makes to their education and confidence.

None of this would be possible without your ongoing support and donations. We want you to see just how much of a difference you’re making. Every contribution helps us give these incredible young people the start in life that they so deserve.

Join us for our biggest event of the year as we come together to celebrate Layton’s birthday. 💙

This year, to keep things simple and cost-effective for everyone, everything will be happening pitch side so we can all enjoy the day together.

There’ll be plenty going on for the whole family, including Crazy M entertaining the children alongside the football match – all included in your entry fee! 🎈🎭

Every young person deserves the chance to reach their potential. 💙

This case study highlights the journey of a determined 15-year-old who simply wanted a fresh start.

After moving schools, he found himself without the support he needed and has now been out of education for over a year. Despite everything he has faced, he has remained positive, kind and focused on his future. His dream is to secure an apprenticeship when he turns 16 and he hasn’t given up on that goal.

While he awaits the outcome of his EHCP tribunal, LJ’s World is proud to be supporting him through personalised tutoring, helping him work towards his English and Maths qualifications. Alongside the support of other organisations, we’re helping him rebuild his confidence, develop his skills and move one step closer to college and employment.

Every young person deserves someone who believes in them. Sometimes, the right support at the right time can change the course of a life.
